i just got a magnaflow exhaust for my 1997 1.8t i am gonna do a giac chip next but wat would be best to do after the chip. also if i go to get the chip will they replace mine on the spot for free, is there tax?

 

change the sdiverter valve its a cheap mode but it willo need to be done after you chip your car

 

Ya, if you go to the shop to have it chipped it will probably take like 10-15mins and you'll be boostin. No idea about the tax thing..

I agree with cl, new DV and you should be pretty set.

And if you still have more cash lying around afterwards you could look into some suspension but just don't put lowering springs on stock shocks you will save a lot of cash and time buy either getting coilovers or a nice spring & shock combo
