i dunno man you could always go to a GIAC dealer or something and see if they will check to se if its stock

well if your buddies buddy has a 97-00 its going to be slower than yours if both are stock . 97-00 is 150hp 01 is 170hp.

Regardless of what you might have... Lets talk about what you should have. If you have a spare $500, you should get a GIAC chip. If not, try to find a used GIAC chipped ecu in the classifieds. After hearing/seeing recent APR reviews/video's, i am an even more die hard giac fan than i used to be.
