in audi automatics the tranny is the weak link, the engine is strong and full of potential but the auto tranny is weak
but in this case all you want to do is just chip so it will be fine
the automatic tranny can handle the power increase

Ask onepoint8tee about chipping. Careful though, he might make an embarassing mess.
Chip won't hurt your automatic tranny, and you'll definitely be able to feel the power.
BOVs are the joke of the year. Next to "what chip" (Cape Cod) and S4 engine swaps (don't even think about it.)
