Default Chip Question

Do all of you that have your cars chipped, did you buy a new exhaust to go along with the chip or did you just leave it stock?

Yes, most people have there cars chipped here. Its the best bang for your buck power wise, along with a chip you need a new diverter valve, those cost 35$-130$ depending on what brand/type you go with. (35$ works fine) And most people do exhaust before or after getting a chip because it reduces the restriction and compliments the added power nicely.

Know of a site where I can check out a Borla set? Also, would it be a good "upgrade" considering, I want to get exhaust first, then chip my car so I can see the chips full performance?

yea I think it would be best to get the exhaust first so when you get the chip you will get the full benifit.... I would get the borla kit from techtonicstuning.com they make the only 2.5' borla kit I know of and its amazing I loved mine, and I think chaos loves it too cuz he has my old set up

^ Thanks a lot bro, you were a big help. Keep in touch, I'm gonna be doing all these mods within the next 2-3 months.

Also, just wondering, does your car have HIDS? Or just regular lights.. Also, where can I get all clear clearheadlights and a new set of clear clearsidemarkers?

mine were the stock lights with the clearcorner mod done to them, basically just takes the amber out of the corners its really easy and there is a DIY some where around here that can tell you exactly how to do it

Ohh cool, and hey.. I looked into that site you gave me, it looks like it says those exhausts are for A4 1.8T Quattro, does it matter what my car doesn't have Quattro?

Also, I found this @ a local shop around me..

BORLA B5 A4 QUATTRO 1.8T TIPTRONIC

And are these the stock Audi headlights, just without amber?
