I want to know if anyone has bought the ebay k04 and has chipped it with the k04 program. will it work ? will the power gain be the same as the kkk k04? Im thinking just because its not akkk turbo doesnt mean that itcannot work. If the dimensions are exactly the same as the original k04 wont it work the same?

 

They are from china and dont use the same quality parts or build methods. When you have something that isnt balanced and spining over 100k rpms, nothing good can come of this.

dont do that to your car.. just spend a few hundred more and get an actual k04

 

^ no kidding, doing it correct once is cheaper than doing it wrong...THEN doing it right.

 

or consider a g-popshop k04 if you need to save a few bucks. I did, great guys, great service, great quality, etc. I'll let you know when I finish the install.

 

+1 on g-popshop. they got us a cheap rebuilt turbo when my cousin blew his on his eclipse.

 

yeah g-pop shop is good, or just spend a few extra and get the real one, but definatly not ebay

 

i dont really wanna get the ebay turbo, but mine is going and im not ready for an upgrade yet, i dont wnat the k04 i want the gtrs, so ima have to get a k03 for now, come december im doing the gtrs so ima not gonna blow to much cash on the turbo now. thanks guys, you all saved me a from big headache.

 

just keep searching the classifieds, here, fortitude, az, and your bound to come across a cheap used k03 to hold you over
