Black B5, is the DV you're talking about the $34 dollar DV that comes off the TT?

Are you using it with your new chip? And is it good enough to handle the chips new boost?

Im assuming you had the TT DV before you got it chipped, did u notice a big difference in acceleration from the stock one?

i think i saw that on myspace or something. i messaged the guy and he replied with this:

these chips are supplied directly by audi, thats why it is audi direct parts. depending on wat audi u have they can give u an upgrade chip to the next level of horsepower that they provid on that engine. since mine is an S4 it was upgraded to an RS4's performance ship then i added a little more money and they gave me a chip that isnt available yet for my specific engine. if u want to know more call 1-800-VWparts. he is based out of new york and he gets all his parts for extremely cheap so you can get yours from him for extremely cheap.

i have no interest in calling because i own a 12V. but i don't think this guy knows wtf he's talking about. you can't just put an rs4 ecu into an a4 or s4, can you??

yes the 710N valve is the stock valve for the TT

no, i did not swap out the valves right after i got my ecu chipped. i drove it for a few days pissed off that i spent 500 bills on a chip that didnt do ****.

the 710N valve i ordered came a few days after i installed the chipped ecu. i swapped the valves and the gains were very noticable. huge inprovement over stock[sm=gears.gif]

Black b5, so would the GIAC chip work for a 1.8 T quattro? And how much would it cost to replace the stock dv valve, and what would i replace it with? Also, how much do you think everthing will end up costing after im finished with this process and how much hors-power should i end up adding after the process is complete? I'm sorry i have so many questions. I know practically nothing about Audis' and car parts, but im trying. I just want my car to be sweet and way fast! Thanks,

-Bryan

Hmm about that dealer chip again but this is crazy I do know a few VW/Audi dealers in Toronto that are Revo dealers and they can flash you ECU right there in about 15 minutes
