haha do a search on these things man. go to giacusa.com and check it out.. they make tip chips which make shift times from 1 sec to .2 sec i think.. somethi'n like that..

Id hold off on the tranny chip.. I dont hear about many people having it and the ones that do havent had it long enough to have a long term reliability oppinion. Id like to experience it though.

I know several guys that have had the tranny chip for years now. It works and works well. I have a spare TCU I plan to get chipped this summer.

well thats good to know.. Can you give a sort of detailed description of the performance of it? Is upshifting and downshifting as responsive as the stock tcu??? Is it comfortable shifting?? I guess i picture it as shifting like a Honda or something, their autos shift quick and kind of jerky, well the older one's anyway. Can you give any reasons why the tip chip would be bad for the tranny?

you dont need a tip chip to chip ur car, i have the k04 program but my car dosent have a tip chip and its fine.

If anything the tip chip is better for your tranny.
