my interior is black leather. 5% is illegal in my state but i know some cops so i could get away with it if they really gave me a ticket for it.

on the tinting part dude i would say go 20% or more because like Jestnomen said it's a bit@h driving at night, i think 20% would be perfect because the inside is black so it would be just enough

 

speaking of the tinting question~ is there any way to outsmart the DMV with that, because I'm from CT where we didn't have emissions for awhile and now they started the program back up. I want to get much darker tints (I have 35% now) but I obviously don't want to have to take them off as soon as I need to do emissions. Help!

Tinting part, i just heard recently that they took the tinting law away in Georgia for a while, so a lot of people are getting their windshields done at 20-30%, and i'm getting my soon tinted at 20%, do you guys think i should do the windshield??

 

i love the BBS wheels u got, i want those but they r to much money. Im currently looking for new 18' wheels for this summer but cant find any i like or in my price range ($1,000)

 

Hey man, I'm from CT also. I've had more than one run in with the law about the tints on my cars. From what I've found they don't really bother you at emissions. Its when you get pulled over the trouble starts. Both my current cars have tint two shades below the legal allowance and have never been bothered about it at emissions. I think you'll be alright getting darker tints and going through emissions but just don't get pulled over!

On a side note, nice to see someone from CT on here! Once I pick up my A4 well have to meet up.
