People gimme ur thoughts on the chrome mirror look on B5 A4's. Looking to install to make the Audi more stylish and S4-esque.

Mirrors Does anyone know where to purchase these type of mirrors?

Also, the lamenated mirrors from my 97 A4 seems to have gotten separated in the mirror layers from moisture or something. Where can I get those assymetrical mirrors to replace them? I think they are heated since i have the cold weather package.

 

ebay germany is a good place to get them. Brushed aluminum would letter better than chrome, IMO.

 

i agree with the brushed aluminum, but I don't know german...how do u guys navigate ebay germany or buy stuff off of it? how does the money convertion and paypal work out anyways?

 

Brushed aluminum would be cool... what color is your car? If its black or blue, they would be pretty cool in my opinion.

 

chrome is no good. brushed aluminum would look awesome. or you can do polished aluminum, which i think is what the s4 has. you can use a translator like google translator or babel fish, just paste the url of the webpage and it'll translate it for you...it's not always accurate but it gives you enough info to get your ****

 

PM jest, or do a search of Jestnomens posts... he bought from an eBay seller in Germany, if I am not mistaken. If the guy can get B7 mirror housings, he can likely get the b5's and b6's.

 

the mirrors would go on my laser red 97 A4. I don't have the aluminum/chrome trim around the window outline on my audi, but i thought the aluminum/chrome mirrors would accent my grill and front badge. Opinions?

 

my opinion on any chrome is always the same...just say no. i think it would look much better if you painted the chrome on your grill and badges black or even laser red. the rear emblems would look good in red..and for the front grill, red rings with a black outer trim would look pretty slick
