But anyways, the night ended with my intercooler missing a 3inch chunk of plastic.. So it was time to ducktape an limp home.[:@]
Next day "today". Go to Vdub shop price new one out. $341 and 4 days shiping wait. FK That!

Bought/Installed New Aluminum Side mount intercooler. $146.

there's plastic on the SMIC? - I'm having a hard time believing that you could physically damage the SMIC without causing some other major damage.

oh wait - I have a b5 and I'm not sure where the SMIC is located on the b6,b7 so maybe its possible

I bottemd out on a rock that scraped the under carrege, and busted the IC were the charge pipe goes in. Lucky I didnt suck mud up there. Barly got her home. Was runin like crap stick. Back firing. ect... . I have my own Vag. Yes, I cleard codes.
And yea, I should of got a FMIC. But had no time to wait on bid/shiping.
