there's plastic on the SMIC? - I'm having a hard time believing that you could physically damage the SMIC without causing some other major damage.

I bottemd out on a rock that scraped the under carrege, and busted the IC were the charge pipe goes in. Lucky I didnt suck mud up there. Barly got her home. Was runin like crap stick. Back firing. ect... . I have my own Vag. Yes, I cleard codes.
