Thanks, I'll check it out tomorrow.
Check those screws carefully. They are SECURITY torx screws so you'll most likely have to go and get that bit to remove them.

Anyone got a pic of where the MAF is in the B6A4 1.8T? I don't even know where the hell that thing is or how to get it out.

You'll need a security torx bit to remove the MAF from its housing, but not to remove the housing from the airbox. You can use CRC MAF cleaner spray to clean the MAF without removing it from its housing.

no need to remove it from the housing. just spray the entire thing down to get it clean

and if you don't want to take the time to go out and get the security bit or spend them money cause I've only seen them in sets of 10 or whatever just clamp your regular torx bit down and drill a hole in the end. you don't have to go far, like 1/16"... 1/8 at most but you'll still probably be throwing the bit out after that
