Default Clear Corer Mod Question?

Hey Guys, I'm about to attempt to do the clear corner mod on my B6. I had a quick question before I start though. In most of the write up's I have found it says to use a dremel tool with a grinding bit. I do not own a dremel tool. Would this be possible to accomplish with a normal drill? What type of grinding tool is needed? If anyone would explain this step in further detail that would be helpful.

Also what write up do most people use for the B6? I've been reading the one on audidiy.com but are there others that might be better?

Thanks,
~Jamie

yes, you can use a drill, you just need to line up the tab in the back of the housing, and make a whole.. i found it easier to start with a bigger bit, and make the hole.. then move the the smallest bit you have and use the whole to slowly grind down the tab from the top of it working in, untill you get far enough so you can move the insert.. just take your time and keep trying to move the tab till you have enough off

Thanks for the advice. So a grinding bit is not needed at all?

One more question.... how do i know if i have "auto leveling" lights. I see the steps are a bit different if you don't have them. Is this only on the stock xenon lights?

I followed the steps on a4mods. I used a small drill bit on my b6 lights. It was a bit of a pain but it was well worth it. Most annoying part for me was getting the damn amber piece out of the lens after I had it loose.
