here is the finish product of my headlamps. well not completely finished, i have to blow the out and clean them up before they are worthy of being put back on in the dirtiness condition they are in now. sorry for the $hitty pic. quality, i just got this camera and still have to figure it out.

looks good. its hard to tell from the pics but did you scratch up the inside of the lense any?

 

looks nice. now someone explain to me how the paint you cover the bulb with is okay? and how it looks etc?

 

I painted mine with some engine enamel paint (silver color) but now look back and wished I just bought some clear bulbs online or something. They still glow orange tho, so at least cops can't pull me over.

 

I bought some cheapo corners off ebay since i have the two piece HL and just got a couple clear bulbs. You're looks good, I might buy the 1 pieces if I get a good deal on a set.

 

how does that look if the lights are on and there are random orange glowing bulbs?

 

the stock bulbs glow orange. they're supposed to. basically the only reason to paint the bulbs silver is so that when the lights are off there is no visible amber in the headlight housing. when the lights are on they perform exactly as they would in stock form. clear bulbs are ok to use but they look very cheap imo, and cops don't like them either.

 

well $hit i bought clear bulbs. are the cops gonna be on my *** when the see them and u think they look cheap?
