Default Clear tail light mod

Anyone know where I can find a tech article on how to remove the tail light asembly. I bought some new clear corners from LLtek, and they didn't send any directions.

Thanks

Its pretty easy, let me explain it to you:

Pull back the carpat from around the taillights. There will be little plastic pressure plugs that need to be wiggled off. Remove the wiring harness. There are 4 8mm nuts you have to remove to free the light. As soon as you remove those the light will slide out. Hope that helped.

Listen to CLConversion. The car is an Audi and not a Honda!

Only time I would do clear taillights is if I intended to do the candyapple red mod - painting them and leaving the tops clear. Thats a nice looking mod.

To each his own.
Did you get the Frosted Red, Krystal RS or Altezza Style?
Be sure to post pics of the install or at least the final results.

I think there pure clear, not altezzas. i actually like these lights. I hate altezzas. if some one gave me a choice between an RS4 with altezzas (and said i could not remove them) and a '84 honda accord i would choose the accord

I want to see if i can get ahold of one of those european trunks that would be sweet.

i like the stock 2000 b5 and stock b6 tail lights. i think u dont need to do anything to em. stock tail lights are worth more than after market tail lights anyways

Does any one know of a link on how to replace them, Jestnomen your description is great but I would love more detail and or photos.

I got the frosted clear no color tail lights like in David K's post, I'll send pics when I get them in. It's not a ricer, the term is Euro-tuner.

clconversion, your 18"enkei rsv's are wheels not rims
rims are for ricers

Jedbass, yeah there is a writeup with pictures, just go to audiworld.com and click on "tech" at the top, its in there somewhere. Looks for changing tailights from 97 to 99 or something like that.
