Default Clicking/Vibration when Braking

My 98 2.8 seems to have developed a bit of a problem. When coasting or accelerating, everything is perfectly alright. When I apply the brake any more than a tiny bit, I get some vibration and hear a rhythmic clicking that sounds like it's coming from my back right wheel. The car is due for the 105K service soon, so I'm going to take it in for the service a bit early and have this looked at as well. In the meantime, does anyone know what could cause a problem like this?

That was the only thing I could think of as well, but I know there are people on these boards way more knowledgable than me so I thought I'd see if I was missing something.

I'm pretty sure its a warped rotor also. Same vibrations and clicking happened to me on my 98 A4

I don't know about that... when it happend to me it came out to be a bad abs sensor. I hope its just the rotor though.

Ugh, that would be a bitch and a half. Can anyone tell me about how much it should cost to get the rotor replaced at the dealership? And Aliel, how much did it cost you to get the ABS sensor fixed?

Hmm. It went away this evening, which seems to throw out the warped rotor theory. Perhaps it is a sensor after all...

Right, there was a vibration in the pedal accompanied by the clicking sound (from one wheel only). The speed of the clicking is definitely tied to the wheel speed, as it would start off fast and slow down as my car slowed. However, I couldn't promise that it was exactly once per revolution or anything that specific.
