A Bentley shop manual for $20, please someone tell me where I can get that! A Haynes manual maybe, but I don't know if they have one for the S4.
Still, a true Bentley manual is only about $70 I think. So you want to spend extra cash on an RS4 Clutch but cant for-go the small amount for a proper manual to do the job right? I don't think you should be attempting this yourself. A job of this magnitude shouldn't be guided by a tech article on the Internet IMO.
But if you must, Start by removing everything in the way of getting to the top bolts of the tranny bell housing, then put the car in the air on a lift. Remove the exhaust downpipes, support the tranny with a tranny jack, unbolt the driveshafts, transmission mounts, and unbolt the lower bolts for the tranny. Remove the hydraulic clutch cylinder and remove the tranny. Remove clutch and flywheel (you are replacing the flywheel too, right?). Replace all bolts with new ones and reinstall the new clutch. Reassemble is the reverse of disassembly.
