anybody has idea what can be wrong? I did not find anything on google search , even here. I do not trust dealer, because they always want to change half of things in the car ,,,, thanks a lot!

P2404 not listed on my database so a bogus code, P0404 sounds more like the problem which is the EGR system range/performance problem - hose leak/blockage, wiring, EGR valve solenoid.

EGR = exhaust gas recirculation

I am sure it is P2404 somewhere on webiste I found it is generic code and problem is "Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Sense Circuit Range/Performance"

http://www.myscantool.com/dtc/powertrain.html . I am beginner, so I do not know if these codes apply to any car...

in this case anybody has idea where can be the problem? is it safe (for me, car) to continue driving this car
