Finally joined the four ring circus and i'm stoked. 98 A4 1.8. silver (no quatro) In need of some 411 At almost ten years old the suspension is ready for replacement. I want to improve handling and reduce body roll, without ending up with too rigid a ride. I've read on the forums that coil overs have adjustable dampening and ground clearance is this true? And are coil overs the way to go for the every day driver who enjoys precision handling/cornering? Thanks

I don't want to ruin your parade, but save your money man. It'll do you alot of good if you can swap that Audi for a Quattro, and then upgrade that. You'll be alot happier you did that, even if you have to front some cash to get a Quattro model. I'll tell you right now, the first time you take a corner going at obscene speeds you'll look down and find a sticky white stain in your crotch.
