Have any of you heard of Reckless Tunning? I might have them assemble a block for me and just wanted to get anyopinions of what you know.

I talked to one of the guys on vortex and he seems to be a good guy and is willing to give me a good deal on some work. Hoping others have something positive to say.

Oh I thought you were talking about GA too when I read discontained's response. This place is good: http://www.autoassets.com/ Not sure about prices, but they know what theyre doing and are very competent.
Thats where I got chipped.
They dont advertise custom work, but I know the owner did some crazy engine building with his A4 and S4.

 

Well the reason i ask is he already has a new block and the crank i need and is willing to assemble the block for a rather good price. EIther way, im sure ill take those to things off his hands.

Yeah if he works there then he is very farmiliar with VW building.

 

The webpage made it appear to be vag specific, so im not all to worried about it
