Default Concern PART 2

So I just put my FORGE007 dv on monday. I also have a custom intake, and thats all i've done to the engine. I just filled up my tank the other day and I noticed that like 15 miles in I was already 1/4 down. I wasn't sure if maybe it just didn't fill up all the way or what. But now I'm already have 1/2 and have only put on like 56 miles.... thoughts PLEASE, need this ASAP seeing as I'm driving 300 - 400 miles tomorrow!!!

I was thinking maybe trying to clean my MAF with alcohol or something...idk. Also how much is a new maf?

umm...did a CEL come on..vag it if you dont have access to one go to autozone..also did you try to fill it up again, see if your really chugging gas or maybe ur gauge is just messed up...if you wanna clean your MAF go buy some connector cleaner spray..

button A is the odometer under the speedo and B is the dimmer under the rev counter.
OEL-OIL service light
press and hold button A,
switch ignition on,
release button A,
the letters OEL or OIL will appear in the odometer display of the speedometer.
pull out button B until the letters are erased and replaced by *--*
that's the oil service light reset..
now the inspection service light.
press and hold button A.
switch ignition on.
release button A.
the letters INSP will appear in the odometer display of the.
if required clear the OEL-OIL indicator from the display as previously described

^^ so that will take my service in 1k thing off?

Thanks!!!

As for the CEL code... Sorry I live in a small mountain town, and when it first came one went to a big o tires up here and was told that the code ran off my engine said that it was running lean. He said that when he first ran it my car showed lean for a split second then went away, and said that it looks good and if it came back on then to take it in. After the guy pulled it the car ran without a cel for like 25 miles. Then it came back I haven't had time to take it back in

If you got a CEL imediately after you installed your intake, you fucked up somewhere. Wether it be mishandling the MAF sensor, or not having all the wires/connections hooked up tight and right. If your maf is bad/wire harness is not plugged in all the way/frayed wiring, etc. youll have shotty performance and gas mileage.
