confused... how bout diode mod with K04???
lol diode modification, umm probably easiest way to explain is to do a search, I'm to lazy right now to go through it. Basically you put a diode (like a resistor) on your map sensor so that the ecu doesn't go into limp mode under higher than stock boost numbers, and with a manual boost controller you can put it up to about 15-18psi on factory software, thus beating the need for a chip. But search it to get a better understanding.

If you have a ko3s i would say keep the ko3 chip and getting a adj fpr. But going from a ko3 to a ko4 will be a bigger jump. You can make it work, but specific sw and fueling would give you better results than just increasing turbos and fuel pressure. You can always give it a shot, but i wouldnt risk it without a way to monitor a/f ratios.

What about using Lemmiwinks, couldn't I use that to tweak a few things on the factory software... I agree probably absolute best way to go is just buying software, but I'm exploring other routes first. Lets put our heads together and figure something out!
