Default Control Arm Recall for A4?

Anyone heard of A4's getting lower control arm recall, like the A6's? It is the exact same part number on both cars. Also, A6's just got a suction valve & mass air recall. The suction valve is often the cause of leaking valve cover and chain tensioner gaskets. Anyone with any info?

There was quite a bit of buzz about it a few months back. Nothing has come down "officially" yet though.

I had my A4 B5 recalled by Audi for the control arm check, last month in Denmark.

The B5 suspension recall wasn't an action recall it was caution to the mechanics, if it looks worn during a service then replace it. Not something you can take your car in and have done FOC.

The reason I don't think they have done the A4 yet is because the A6 is a heivier car and they are going through the control arms more but I think that the A4's in the future will also have a recall just be patient

Well, in Denmark (and the rest of Europe) Audi did call the cars in exclusively for this check.

CLConversion,
What is that do to my car if there is a recall? I am the third owner and I didn't buy this car from Audi. Can I bring the car to your dealership?
