Hello guys. This site has helped me soo much but now I need to post. I have a 96 A4 Cabriolet and I need to find out how to add fluid to the motor? I found the convertible motor in the trunk on the right but can not find how to add fluid. Does someone know how to add fluid?

There is a brass plug with a hex head on the top of the pump. Fill it using a very, very small funnel using Pentosin Hydraulic fluid (the same $$ stuff you would use for fill the power steering.) There is fuid level readout on the small plastic reservior - if you stick your head all the way down, you should see it. When recplacing the plug, be sure as to not overtighten the plug or you will break the o-ring. Hope this helps!
