Last night i noticed a black cord to be hanging form the botom of my car. It just slipped off something but i dont know what. They car runs fine and all my lights work. It was hanging form the engine bay and the wire tracks back to around a fuse box behind the bumper but it has all the cords in it. I cant find any other places that are missing a cord and i havnt gotten any lights from it missing. The number on the cord is 800 820 535. Whats this cord for? Where do i plug it in to?

i figured it out, it was a couple wires bound witha plug on the end (a chord). It was teh outside temp sensor. I just zip tied it to teh lower grill and i still get a reading. Couldnt find teh stock place where it goes so...

 

oh - yeah it normally attaches to a small clip that is on the oil cooler infront of the rad.

 

yea thats where we were looking for it but didnt see it. Is it possible that i lost that when the plug fell off?

 

lol mine fell off yesterday and i just zip tied it back on to the bottom of the car
