Default Is this the correct way the DV should be installed?

Is the the right way my forge 007 DV should be installed? Ive been told its to blame for my low boost after i got GIAC chipped. And have been told to get a Bailey instead, I just wanna make sure ive got it installed right first. I used to have it installed the other way around but the car is on jacks now and im trying to figure out the right way to do it before i set it back down. Im also using the yellow spring. i switched from the green but im still peaking at 13 psi and holding at 9-10psi.

So then what could be my boost problem? Crappy turbo? failing DV? Reflash needed?I have no boost leak because ive tested it already. I dont know what else to do besides waste money paying auto assets a ton of money to figure it out.

Id go back to auto assets and explain the situation. Tell em you did a boost leak test and everything else has been ruled out. If they are nice they will reflash you.

well whenever i was in limp i would boost 5-10 psi, but never over. Have you checked/cleared fault codes lately? Sometimes you gotta clear the code for it to come out of limp. Like i told you before its sort of typical to go into limp a few times while the ecu adapts. Depending on what code is stored, it may be keeping you in limp. Id try to check/clear codes before heading over to auto assets. They will probably want to go through their own diagnosing before reflashing which will cost you. You are supposed to clear fault codes before getting chipped, and afterwards to a throtle body alignment... They didnt do either for me when they chipped me which may had been the cause for my issues after getting chipped until i bought vag com.

if you dont have vag com, got to get a code reader that can clear codes. Autozone nomally has them for rent. Plug it into the OBD port under the dash. If you didnt live so far away id come check it out with vag. Im startin to really think you are stuckin limp mode.

most people prefer the green spring i think
make sure you write down the fault codes if there are any for future ref.
