Couple of questions:
Hey, I'm new to the forums and tried the search function -- but if I might have overlooked something already posted about my questions:
1) I drive a 2002 Audi A4 3.0 with the sports package. I am not sure if the tires I have on it are stock are not, but I have had some major issues with them recently. I recently rotated my tires and noticed that the two front tires were worn much, much more than they should be. In fact, the steel lining inside the tire was nearly fully exposed on the inside rims of both tires -- the front left tire was the worst. The tires are Kumho Ecsta Supra's, so they're pretty nice tires. Has anyone else had a similar problem or know what the problem is?
2) I'm looking for some light performance mods for my car. Stupid little pride things like stomping that RSX Type-S, instead of just beating it. And finally getting enough courage to race that badass Camaro down the road. I've searched the internet extensively but have not been able to find anything that would enhance the power of my car enough to be a worthwhile purchase/install.
3) I wouldn't mind lowering the car another couple of inches, for a more aggressive look (not necissarily feel, although it would be welcomed). Anyone have any luck with this? And I've been thinking about window tints -- what looks best?

1) Kumho Ecsta Supra are cheap and kinda crappy
2) the 3.0 doesnt have that much potential, u can get an exhaust, intake, and thats about it and that wont take a Camaro
but if u got the money u can go with a SUPER CHARGER
3) if u lower your car you should replace the shocks also or just go fo coilovers

2. Light performance mods would be maybe a nice exhaust (Milltek, Apr, ect.) and the intake box modification. Search for that though.
3. Coilovers and new shocks would be the best way to go. dont really know where to search for em but you could try www.ecstuning.com or www.goapr.com
4. As for window tints, i belive 35% looks best becasue its the most close to legal. With a dark interior, its hard to see in.

hey man..welcome....as for your first question..i cant really be of much assistance....as for the 2nd one....there is a stick at the top of the A4 page with a HUGE list of parts companies. Look into chipping the car and also an exhaust...your list of available mods for a 3.0 are kinda short but if you look around you'll find what you need. Plenty of people lower their cars, just be weary of rubbing issues if you plan on getting bigger/wider wheels and tires. As far as tints...see whats legal where you live...and it also depends on preferance/car color...hope that helps

Is it possible to transplant an S4 engine into the A4? I have a cousing who's mechanically savy, but doesn't know anything about Audis or VWs.
That G2 supercharger on Pes-Tuning looks nice, but it doesn't specify support for an '02 model -- would there be any reason that it might not fit? Damn, I hate that RSX Type-S (an embarassment is necessary).

no, that is the 2.8L s/c that they have listed on their site (98-01)...they have one for the 3.0L but it's not listed, you'll probably have to call them
putting an s4 engine in the a4 is possible but not worth it at all, it is much cheaper to sell your a4 for an s4, and the s4 will be much better (better breaks, suspension, interior, exterior, etc)
