Default cracked wheel

Today I was driving on Raymond Blvd in Newark NJ. Anybody familiar with the roads in this are knows how bumpy they are. Anyways this Civic tried to race me on there and me being stupid I started racing. I hit the biggest pothole and my front passenger side wheel bented and cracked. The worst thing is that my wheels are discontinued so if it can't be fixed I have to buy a whole new set.

My question is... Anybody from NJ knows a good wheel repair shop in North Jersey?

Second... if it cannot be repaired anybody in the tri-state is selling wheels? I want 18" and not heavy...

Thank you guys...

What kind of wheels are they? Have you considered 17"'s? If you've got rough roads out there, you're less likely to damage a 17" than an 18".

The ones that are damaged right now are 17" (ACE Wheels) so I was hoping to go one size bigger. Don't really know that much about the wheels I have because the previous owner put them in.

Your wheel may be discontinued, but if it is a style of wheel that was offered as the full sized spare, somebody might sell it to you. Course, then you'd probbaly have your spare... did you check that? Haha, I could see myself overlooking that... cracking a wheel and freaking out about, all the while there is a brand new one in your trunk!

Figures eh? Meh, your car is an early B5 then right? Phone the wreckers, keep an eye on ebay... worst case scenario, you can get a replica to replace your one wheel. I wouldnt fret. Not that the move to 17's is a bad one...

haha way to fight the man neil! I never thought to do that, I put a tiny flat spot on my 18's with the golf... hit a monster of a pothole out in campbelford... everybody out there has a pickup truck, and has close relations with their cousins. hahaha, I just beat the inside of the wheel with a hammer (and a peice of wood in between). Luckily I'd slowed down as much as I did, when I finally saw it... or that rim would have been toast, what with the 205 35 18's.

Yea I would also go after the city however usually they will only do something if you complain first, then they dont fix the whole, then you damge your wheel. Also I have hit some HUGE potholes with my 18's and they haven't bent...because of that I recommend forged wheels. One time my roomate was following me in montreal and i hit a pothole going about 50 that was soo big that my rear opposite wheel came off the ground! It did destroy a control arm though
