I've only had my Audi for a month, and its a 1996 quattro. its in amazing condition, and i love it. Just the other day it started making a light rubbing? noise, almost like something was rubbing the tire. Then it turned louder and harder. I thought maybe the brakes, so I had them checked, that wasn't it. I took it to a mechanic specializing in audis/vw and he heard it, raised it and spun the tires and then drove it again and everything was fine. I drove it home, didnt hear the noise. Drove it around some more and everything was fine. I went to the store and the noise started up again. At the shop the mech. mentioned something about a drive line? Are those expensive? What is wrong with my beautiful car?!?!
