you should be able to take your car to the place where you got your tunning and have them turn it up........ i would think

since you can have them turn it down

and i have a feeling when you sell that k04 it will sell fast

a ebc will allow you to hold boost longer, but your not going to hold 20+ psi on a ko4 since its mainly a spike and taper turbo. The only way to really make it HOLD 20+ psi is to have less displancement. If the car was 1.4L instead, it wouldnt spool as fast, but would hold boost better.

an ebc won't allow me to crank up the boost safely tho right? im just looking for ways to get a little more power out of my k04 before going BT. any way to do that cincy? im already adding w/m and finally putting my fmic on.

why wouldnt a ebc let you up the boost saftly? You can set it to whatever you want and then it will hold the pressure longer than any other device you can buy. But fmic and maybe even w/m should of been installed a LONG time ago.

i have no experience with ebc's so i didn't know. so i can get an ebc and crank up the boost a few psi and be completely safe? i thought i also had to adjust fuel and timing, or does an ebc do that? and yeah i know about the fmic and/or meth. but the clutch took priority, and that took all the extra money i had.

the ebc will be just like a mbc but use selinods which works 10x better and will hold boost longer. Running a few more psi shouldnt need much in the way of tuning. But 22-23psi is still about tops i would try to push out of a stock turbo (yes, its still basically a stock turbo, if you think otherwise, run 26psi daily on a ko3s)
