Today i was mind f*****g my car and started to notice some similarities between the stock bumper and the rs4. Has anyone attempted to just modify there stock bumper into a rs4 look. It seems like it wouldn't be that hard just a bit of cutting,molding and repaint.

ur gonna have to exstend the lower part of the bumper to make ur air damps larger
ur bumper isnt lower enough to do that but u can still try
just have an extra bumper ready if u mess up

 

Yeah would say find a bumper from the junk yard to work with. Actually get a crappy hyundai bumper to pratice on until you figure out what is going to work, then do it on a junk yard A4 bumper. Thats going to be tough though...

 

Yea i know it's not going to look the same but maybe a little better then what's on there now. As it stands now my bumper is messed up anyhow (took a BIG bite out a steel building)so if i really jack it up then it's so big deal i'll just get the bumper i wanted in the 1st place. I was just wondering if anyone did this before, or seen the similarities i did.

 

i got mine for $250, was a pain though cuz i had to do some trimming so i can fit 3" pipes for the FMIC. might save you some headaches and time

 

You got your's off someone or modded the stock 1.

 

No, i bought it aftermarket from a place in Orange, Ca. it fit tight and no gaps, its really really close to perfect, i was surprised but like i said i only had to mod it to fit bigger pipes and didnt need to cut away at nothing to put intercooler.

 

i know its alot easier to do on an s4 bumper
