as i was trying to trouble shoot the problems i have been having with my car stuttering under high boost i came across this.. now i know in that in some cases its not a big deal to have a little oil on the spark plugs.. but Audi's are new to me.. so i wanna see what you guys have to say..

plugs 2- 4 were perfect..no signs of oil at all..

yeah, im interested too. Mine has the same thing. I just did the valve cover gasket and the gasket around the coilpack holes, should this make a difference? do i need to change my plugs again?

PS. mine has a little shutter as well at high boost, funny thing is when i changed my plugs a while back, it went away. Opinions??

 

That is to much oil....looks like you have a DIY on your hands [:-]

Valve cover gasket. The Gasket at the top of the valve cover can leak and leak down the sides and run onto the spark plug over a period of time. Normally its at the top of the plug but it can also get down there.

 

ya i had the same issue on my 240sx.. the spark plug gaskets were leaking..

guess ill be searching for a new set of gaskets [:@]

no ****? nice.. the gasket for my 240sx was like 90 bones..

 

i guess swaping out my plugs wouldnt be such a bad idea then? Time to go to the auto parts store.
