Default cylinder misfire

well i took my car to a friend who is a mechanic, i did not have it scanned because he knew right away what it was. boom, misfire on cylinder 2. so we did some troubleshooting, swapped the coils, coils are good, swapped the sparks, they are good, seems that the ecu is not sending a signal to the coil or the wires to the coil are ****ed up. any body have this experience before?

It would help if you list your yr/engine when asking questions. Go to your profile and create a signature with that info to cut down on guess work when people try to help you.

yea i will post my info, sorry about that. you guys were 100% right, icu it was. went to a spealized dealer, and they wanted 365 for the oem part and 185 for the german one. i asked if the german was just as good as the oem and they said yea. bought, installed, runs great. i see audi knows how to make there money huh? 365 for a part that they probably paid 10 bucks to make. thanks guys
