dam oil light decided to come on today while i was driving,.. oil level is good, no signs of leakage anywhere, bad sensor or pump goin ?

 

lol first its DAMN that is unless the beavers that made a dam caused your oil light to come on Id check you sensors, but don’t drive it, it might be right that something is messed up... maybe the infamous sludge problem

 

car has 4800 on it ive been using the bigger oil filter and pentosion 5w-40 oil in it i really need to drive the car ohhh this sucks

 

well if it is the pump goin then if you drove it it would realy **** its **** up, but its hit or miss to what it is with out a vag com........ you could chance it if you needed it that bad but i dont think I would till i knew what was up.... like my oil temp guage ate **** last month and i didnt drive the car till i knew that it was just the sensor not a blocked flow or something else relativly bad

 

Don't drive it until the problem is diagnosed and corrected. Don't take the chance of making a small problem into a 5000 dollar engine rebuild.

 

Im going to have the car towed to my mechanic in englewood on monday

 

got the car scanned today no faults found. Car is a OK must have seen something for a split sec turned the light on ,.. well it never came back scan is clean so im pickin it up tomorrow
