did the first Oil change since I bought my car 96 A4 2.8 12v'er. Dam why didn't anybody tell me it was so dam easy.. I all lifted the front on two jackstands, just incase the oil filter was towards the back. I'm looking for a sec, then pul the front plastic piece down... BAM.... there it is.. I went into this easy project thinking about the G.O.E (German over engineering), and how hard they probably made it to change the oil. So I was very surprised to see they made it actually quite simple...

This is the first maintanance I've done so far.. Don't worry I don't think I've put 2k miles on the car yet..


PS... Are the 2.8s oil filter the same one they use on an Abrahms Tank???? If not it should be.. The Dam things gargantuan.... LOL!!!

 

ya thats why i do it myself. its a piece o cake. u just gota make sure to do the filter right with the right washer. and ya the filters are HUGE. i was surprised myself
