this is what remus considers a catback for my 98 2.8? Damn it. Should i keep this and get a muffler shop to bend me pipe back to it or return it and get 451 dollars back? even though its not what i thought...it is REALLY nice and im sure it sounds great. HELP

aahhh im going crazy, does anybody know off hand what it would cost me to have a shop bend me pipe to a certain spec and maybe weld it for me?

 

they sent me a muffler for $300 and it doesnt fit. its sitting in my closet right now.....cant return it either. sux

 

Cant be too pissed at Remus, they gave you what you ordered. It has been said numerous times on the forums that this is all it comes with. Supposedly sounds the best tho.

 

doesnt matter what they said on the forums, is on the website that states "full catback". I think im gonna have a muffler shop do the rest of my "catback"...it'll end up being around the same range as an actual full catback would be.

EDIT: o yea, and i ordered it from www.autoaccessorystore.com not straight from Remus

 

getting a muffler shop to bend you something back is reasonably cheap keep it and get them to make you something

im pretty sure, im gona check it out. I'd imagine so, my dad says he does it all the time.

 

Yeah they say remus is mid pipe back...so behind the midpipe... which apparently is just the muffler and tips. I'd just use it... it'll sound great.
