Had to vent a bit. Decided I could spend some $$$ on a K04 upgrade. Unfortaunately, I was on I-95 outside of Philly and a rock shattered my windshield. I guess the money will go there instead of an upgrade.

4 inch bull's eye with about 4 inches of extension. Sent some small splinters of glass into the passenger seat.

Let me guess a truck flung it at you. i had one scratch my perfect windshield the other day.

 

At least it's cheaper than taking the hit to a body panel.

Yes, it was a heavy hauler that threw the stone. Fortunately my kids were riding in the back seat. It actually send a few splinters of glass into the passenager compartment that stuck into the top of the dash.

I'm glad it didn't hit a panel. I had a few small stone chips that is was going to have fixed before Christmas. Glad I didn't spend the money only to have this happen.

That's funny, cause I've had my car for 10mo now and have hadtwo windshields break due to rocks from I-95. The first was going through Philly and the next was right outside of Newark, DE where I live. 95 sucks!!!! But both times my insurance company (State Farm)covered it.
