yes... it will bring the secondary o2 sensor out of the path of exhuast gas more. reading a different level then the primary o2. Therefore it tricks the ecu into thinking the cat is working.

put the cat back on...and still a trouble code... how long will it take for the light to correct itself? thanks guys for all the info....getting frustrated, need to pass emissions before the 23rd.....of december. lol
