ok, can sombody enlighten me as to what the difference is between a dampening kit, opposed to a spring, strut package...

and if anybody has a place where i can get either of them fairly cheap, can u help me out there too?

not sure what they call a dampening kit (it just sounds like an ambiguous term for suspension to me)....there are spring/shock combos, struts (which are basically just the combination of springs and shocks)...and there's coilovers, which are one-piece and are adjustable for height and usually dampening also....there are also coilover kits that turn struts into coilovers...
