Default in-dash dvd

does anyone have any pics of audis with a in-dash dvd/nav unit? i'm thinking about getting one, but not sure if it will look good. seems like alot of space to fill up. can you buy adapters and such? do you have to splice into the audi wires or is there a wire adapter as well?

a couple people on this forum have carputers, which are basically pc computers built into their dash....vag-com is a diagnostics software for audis and volkswagons, it connects to your OBD2 port through your laptop (or your carputer). it's not really worth it unless you do your own repairs/maintenance i guess...

you can get a flip-out headunit, that would minimize the modifications...no matter which way you go you're going to have to do some custom work...or pay someone else to do it
