Default Dash kits and panels

Hey guys just baught a 97 audi a4. Unfortunately it's the fwd and not the quattro but other then that it's a sweet ride. The leather in the interior is in great condition so that won't be a problem but the plastic panel around the controls for the windows and door locks is very worn out on both sides. In addition I was at the dealership and to reset my radio as it was locked since I didn't have the code they scratched up the panel around the radio and basically told me to get lost when I complained so now I want to replace that one too. I've seen trim kits on ebay but I heard the stick ons look cheap so I'm interested to know if I can remove the plastic panels around the wndow controls and in the center around the deck and climate control and have them replaced with new ones preferably in a nice wood burgendy trim.

You can do it, but I'd leave it to a pro. Kinda pricey but not something you want to look crappy in your car. And yes, the eBay kits are incredibly cheap and show it (at least most of them). Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

if you are talking about the plastic on the inside door handles i know what you mean, it is cheap, that stuff scratches easy as hell, try going to wooddashkits.com, i think they have a trim the would replace the radio face and the handles as well as ashtray and sunroof dial

That's a good website but i think all of their things are adhesives? I was lookin to remove the panels nd put new ones in. I don't want it lookin or fallin off like stickers. I mean at the dealership the plastic panels for around the window controls are like 30$ each so i mean aslong as it isnt a hard installation I figure it wouldnt be too expensive.
