Default DBW vs NDBW FMIC question

Okay so I have a DBW car, and I am about to buy an intercooler off of a guy that has a nDBW car... I know there is a difference in the FMIC... I think one of them has a hole for something, and the other doesn't. I'd like to know the exact difference, and to know if I can modify this one to work on my car. BTW it's a Racetec FMIC.

Thanks in advance guys!

you will need to buy a map flange an dhave it welded on. thats why dbw cars can run w/o a maf.

Holy crap... points for the new guy!

Haha I really appreciate that man... welcome to the forums, and thanks for the help! I was worried that it was going to be an issue big enough that I wouldn't want to buy this intercooler... but for 25 bucks and a little welding, I think I'm golden!

Hmm, sounds interesting! So you're going big turbo on a DBW car? What are your plans?

for sure! I just think it's amusing that it was a bet that pushed you to do it
