Default Debadging Help?

Hi Everyone,
I recently debadged a 2007 A4 2.0T, everything went smoothly as I have read in previous threads. However I have two problems. The first is I notice that I can still see almost it appears faded marks on where the emblems use to be, is that normal? For the cars age I figured this wouldnt be an issue.

Second, from removing the adhesive, I gently rubbed my thumbnail with googone to remove. There are now micro scratches from where I did that. Any ideas?

Thank you for your time.

Jay

If it's 2007 there should be no buildup... but yeah, I would get some rubbing compound at your local automotive store; they should sell a compound that can blend the noticable spots right in.
