back to my dilema, i went to my uncles body shop to see what he suggested gave me 2000 grit sand paper and told me to wet sanded.Well i was a little scared i was going to ruin the paint but i wet sanded the areas then waxed over them again and it looks brand new.

yeah i love the look. i just debadged my a4 today.. looks much better. i'll post som pics soon.

actually, it wasnt too bad. the film came off pretty easy, but i had the same problem with the outline. i kept applying goo gone, then washing the back w/ soap, then goin back to the goo gone and blow dryer, after about 20 mins it was all gone. also helps to leave it in the sun for a few hours. i let it bake for about 2 hours before i started the process.

ateurv8, did u mean debadging ur car and painting the trim around the grille was the best thing you've ever done to your car, or debadging ur grille(and painting its trim)
because i have an rs4 grille and i dont see how u could debadge that biotch. lol sorry ive been drinking wine today--i had a funeral yesterday....which was easter........and i just thought wine would help the day pass by! weeeeeeee!
lol, i didnt debadge my grille. i debadged the back of my car...sorry if that sounded confusing.

yea its running like a champ now and its egarly awaiting me to start sanding its multicolored *** down next week, then its time for some color and it will be back to new-ish condition I cant wait, plus while its down i get to bring my old mustang out of the garage for a few weeks and drive that fine beast around again

speaking of vehicles being tanks.. i rear-ended a semi (don't ask) at about 50 mph with my Jeep Cherokee and drove that somb*tch home. thats a tank.
I rolled a few weeks back (not the Audi) but it's still a tank!!!
