idk, but i would leave em black. You blacked out all the other stuff, why de-black your mirrors?

yea, i was thinking something like that ross, but i don't want to ruin the surface of the housings...i'm assuming they're plastic, so i'd need something as mild as possible....what do you guys think about brushed alum. mirrors on my car? i was thinking there might be a little too much black as it is now, i was thinking the brushed mirrors might be a good contrast. the only chrome on my car right now is the window trim, everything else has been blacked out.

well if you're goin to do it, brushed aluminium is def the way to go, not chrome. Maybe some paint thinner to dull the chrome and then run over it with a steel brush...idk

It's not actually chrome. It's just chromalized plastic. It's like a paint.

Contact this guy:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Audi-A4-S4-B5-...QQcmdZViewItem

His auction is for chrome but he also sells matte finish (bushed).

You dont want CHROME mirror cover. Trust me that paint will come off in 2 years or so. ABS plastic is good but the paint on the plastic is not stable. You want the original mirrior housing and matt chrome (aluminum brushed) mirrors. Only way is from ebay.de and get the original one.
