Decided on BT
So i ahve decided on what BT to go, and i think APR Stage III+ would be the bst choice. Reliability, and responsibility. I have family that will also be driving this car, and i dont feel safe with my mom driving my car with that much horsepower, and APR has the option of switching to stock progrmming when you want.
SO here are my questions now... I need a FMIC! I dont like APR's, but my local APR retailer, 2Bennett, made their own kit using the TT FMIC, so was wondering if anyone here had any thoughts on that.
Also, is what i am hearing true, where people are seeing up to 300 AWHP on the APR Stage III+ for B5's? Their website says it should put out 330ish HP a the crank?

Do you mean, a low boost option? A 1bar and 1.6-7bar program would probably what they install.

Deasnt matter what the ic was for, just aslong as it fits, uses correct diam piping, and cools efficently. Also did you hear that Bennett just suffered another crass and is now paralized from his neck down instead of waist down?

With an increase in boost (24-26psi) it is possible. Not sure what out of the box psi is

RE: Decided on BT
The thing is you want the least amount of connections possible and core that will cool the temps as close to ambient as possible. 6"H x 3"W might not cut it on a 350-375hp car with the low density of thse cores. It will work better than stock, but not at its best for the car. If you go with ebay, you will have to do some cutting to fit a large 10"H core in there.

Hmmm...okay. and as for the programming, on their website, they say they have a stock option.
Alsooo..i have borla exaust. i believe it is 2.5"...meaning most people say that is too small for BT but i reallyyyyy dont wanna get rid of it...

2.5" is plenty. Just make sure you dont have the 2.25" system.
"Stage III+ for the B5 A4 is being released initially with only stock, 91, and 93 octane programs. Race gas programs will be available soon" I dont know what all that means. I think that comma might not belong after "stock" and it just comes with a 91 or 93 and if you want race, you pay for it.
