Default DEER!!!

i was on my way home from my girlfriends house late sunday night in back country PA just having a little fun when out of no where
i came arround a corner and boom! i nailed a deer! i had no time to react i just drilled the deer. i got it towed to a repair shop
and was told that it could definatley be repaired. my insurance company came to take a look and said otherwise! its totaled! i have some mods. as well as a brand new K03 in the car now. heres my delima... i can take all cash in a check which would total 7100 and change or i can keep the car and only get 6200 and change. now keep in mind the car is not drivable and it was only hit in the front drivers side. i do not know what other damages i have other then what i can see only because i cannot get the hood up. the only thing i am worried about is the fact that the gas pedal is hard as a rock... this makes me believe that the throttle body is stuck some how or something is wrong in some other fassion. so i do not know what to do i either could take the money and try to find something else or i can take the car and part it to some people and use that money to find annother A4. either way i am getting annother A4/S4 but i do not know what to do in my perdiciment. any help would be appriciated thanks guys.

interesting dilema, luckily we don't have many deers in the UK!

could you not somehow get the chip out and then just take all the $7100 cash. probably not worth keeping a totalled car.

ughh. saw a totaled lotus elise on the side of the road lastnight. hood covered in deer hair. so gross. i hate living in ohio. so many deer we have sharpshooters come and snipe them out once a month (dont give me crap about killing a harmless deer, just wait until you hit one). its like hitting a cow. unbelievable how much damage they do.

Definatley... you get like 1000 less in the cheque but get to keep the car? You could prolly make a couple grand easy parting it out. If you have the room, doooo it.
