Default Did anyone ...........

.......experienced this before? The temperature yesterday was in the high 30's and I noticed that my car squeeks everytime I turned the steering wheel. I also heard some squeeking noise under the car at the same time I turned my steering wheel. This morning the noise have disappeared and the temperature is a bit cooler than yesterday. I think it has something to do with the temperature and humidity.
I have also hear a noise when I accelerate the car and the sound is like a metal grinding another metal. I was thinking that it may be a pulley but that was replaced a year ago when the water pump and timing belt was changed.
Any thoughts?

I had squeaky steering when turning right. The dealership had a look, and it was justa case of greasing a few joints. Problem solved.

Just change the tilt and extension of the steering wheel a few times and turn it back and forth and the squeek will disappear.

Just had the same problem. The squeak was coming from the front end when ambient temp was up and got worse when car was driven for a while. First couple of looks found nothing. Problem got worse. Started to clunk a little. Got it on the lift yesterday and found one inner control arm bushing (lower) is torn and other side inner is going fast. Guess I'll replace them all. ECS has the kit. I think one of our forum gurus said that ECS's kit was good quality.

I had the same problem but it was a separated brake pad from the caliper.
