I wish mine was a push down. Actually, I wish reverse was to the left of 1st like in VW's.

I love my Dieselgeek. Make sure you have a box-end 13mm hex wrench that's at least like 6 inches long, and some spindly, dextrous hands, or you will have a hard-*** time installing it. You just can't get to the two bolts underneath the center console very easily. Also get one of those long magnets or long grabbers for the nuts and **** you WILL drop into the hole. And it helps to have a grabber for the big flat washer to connect the shifter with the linkage...you'll see.

No, different wrench. The long T-handle thing the kit comes with is indispensable, but there are four nuts that hold the shifter in place. Well, four on top, anyway. And two are just under the center trim to the rear of the shifter, and two are a little farther back under the center console, to the front of the shifter. The only way to get them is a ratcheting stubby-wrench. Actually, if you get a little 13mm ratcheting hex-wrench, this job will be a piece of pie for you.
