Default Diverter Valves

I know the 710N is good enough for being chipped, but what is the difference between it and a more expensive/higher quality diverter valve???-performance wise?

the more expensive ones are forged metal so they wont break that easly wit high boost
the 710Ns are still made of plastic so its limits arent that high

I have a adjustable stratmosphere and I like it alot...I think you can hear it more when the turbo spools and when you back it off...worth it...b/c they are serviceable too...

I only paid $35 for it from ebay...best to look there or the classifieds to get one...

Are you saying its easier to hear the turbo spool up? Or just whatever noise the DV makes itself?

Thanks! So, now, I read that for the 710N the installation is reverse?? Does that mean reverse of the old stock 710a??? Cuz I just put the 710N in the same position the old 710a was!

" install in reverse where spring loaded end is pointing into the ic piping]" is what it says.. I dont remember which end the spring was on, but I know that I replaced it the same way the old one was in, so is that wrong or am i cornfused??????? THANKS!

The 710n being plastic has nothing to do with what its capable of, its the rubber guts inside that the real dif between and good metal and a 710n.

The 710N is the same thing as the 710A but it has a better spring. So if you put it on the same exact way the other one was on you got it right.

Well before i read your post, i went out real quick and reversed the way it was in... It drives better, with the placebo effect ruled out for sure. It is way more responsive and i see no bad side effects at all. Whats the worst that could happen if i leave it this way? check this: http://dv.mistertam.com/5.htm
